Meliá Castilla, part of the Melia Hotels International group, is the number one property on the 2024 list of Cvent's Top Meeting Hotels in Europe.
The Madrid-based property moved up three places from last year’s Top Lists to take the number one spot after making considerable improvements to its meetings and events offerings, including more LED screens and faster connectivity.
Meliá Castilla offers 909 rooms and 12 suites spread across fifteen floors, each thoughtfully designed with an emphasis on tranquillity and silence. It also has 7,000 sqm of events space and 33 function rooms, the largest of which can host 700 attendees for a cocktail reception.

The 2024 list of Top Meeting Hotels in Europe by Cvent is based on the sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network between January 2023 and December 2023. More than $16B of MICE business was sourced through Cvent’s online platforms in 2023.
Meliá Castilla moved up three places from last year to take the number one spot. In second place is the 791-room Hilton Prague (pictured below), which has risen three places from the previous year.
Newcomers to the Top 10 Meeting Hotels in Europe list (listed below) include NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding (#3), Lisbon Marriott Hotel (#5), Hilton Barcelona (#6), Meliá Avenida América (#8) and AC Hotel Barcelona Forum (#10). Meliá Avenida América has climbed an astonishing 87 places to get into this year’s Top 10.
