Pradeep Mannakkara

At Cvent, Pradeep is responsible for driving the company’s advancement and strategic direction of Cloud Operations, Information Security, Business Applications, IT Project Management Office, and Enterprise Services. He has been instrumental in establishing Cvent as a trusted partner to their tens of thousands of customers worldwide due to the Company's strict adherence to data security and data privacy regulations. His efforts enabled Cvent to become the first meetings, events and hospitality technology provider to have its Privacy Shield certifications approved by the United States Department of Commerce after third-party verification.

Pradeep leads a global security team dedicated to access control, compliance, data privacy, data loss prevention, encryption, information risk management and more, enabling Cvent to maintain the high security and compliance standards needed to receive leading certifications and accreditations.

Prior to joining Cvent, Pradeep was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Ellucian Inc., a leading provider of software and services for higher education institutions. He has held executive positions at Visa, Time Warner/AOL, CNET Networks, and Rosetta Stone. Pradeep has accelerated the move towards cloud technologies and has led many global transformations in his tenure working with public companies and private equity.

Pradeep earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of North Texas in Business Computer Information Systems and Accounting. He lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and 2 children.
