Cvent Supplier Network will be used to support more than two million room nights for Experient’s association, tradeshow and government clients

McLean, Va. and St. Louis, MO — Cvent, a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, today announced that Experient, a subsidiary of renowned meeting, event and incentive travel program provider, Maritz Travel, has selected Cvent’s hotel sourcing platform for preferred use with its clients. Through this agreement, Experient, a top provider of meeting and event services to associations, tradeshows and government organizations, is expected to source more than two million hotel room nights annually through the Cvent Supplier Network, an industry-leading online marketplace, connecting meeting and event planners with more than 200,000 hotels and other venues globally.

Cvent and Maritz Travel began their engagement in 2011, and in 2012, Maritz Travel successfully completed the acquisition of Experient. With Experient now an official Cvent partner, they join the ranks of other third-party clients using this leading event management platform.

Planners can easily and efficiently submit electronic Requests for Proposal (eRFPs) to more than 200,000 hotels and venues in more than 900 major cities in 175 countries around the world and compare side-by-side bids to help them save significantly on event costs.
