Cvent Enhances Web Survey Solution with Most Significant Feature Additions and Upgrades to Date
New Features Include Mobile Surveys, Multi-Language Surveys and Automated Text Analysis
January 26, 2012 – NEW YORK and MCLEAN, VA – Cvent, the world's largest provider of cloud-based software for web surveys, event management and meeting site selection, today announced several considerable advancements to its web survey solution, featuring upgrades that foster increased participation across a broader audience and allow for deeper analysis—enabling organizations to better identify actionable insights to guide business decisions. The upgrade features over 20 additions and enhancements; the majority of which were developed in response to customer feedback and requests.
"Individuals are accessing information differently today, which is evidenced by the fact that over 70 million people in the U.S. access email on their smart phones," said Lee Orr, Cvent’s Senior Director of Feedback Management. "Our mobile survey offering gives Cvent's customers an additional platform for reaching their constituents. Now, respondents can take advantage of feedback opportunities through multiple modalities, which will yield increased survey participation."
This product upgrade gives Cvent users the ability to:
- Increase survey response rates by customizing each survey to be mobile friendly. Administrators can enhance the user experience by configuring colors, fonts and mobile-specific text; modify questions to be the optimal length for smart phone respondents; and adjust future email communications to be mobile-friendly for users who responded to the survey via their phone.
- Localize each participant’s experience by creating a single survey that can be taken in one of five languages—English, French, Spanish, German or Italian—through Cvent’s multi-language survey offering. The administrator can allow respondents to select a language, or have Cvent detect the user’s preferred language based on browser settings; report on close-ended answers using their own base language; and target the respondents with future language-specific email correspondence.
- Streamline and automate the analysis of open-ended comments through the use of text analysis. Administrators can view common phrases in ranked lists or word clouds; group phrases into their own custom categories; and instantly drill into specific topics or trends to further analyze results.
