Cvent Announces Corporate Partnership with Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration
Leading channel for group business to team up with the world leader in collegiate programs in hospitality management
McLean, Va. – Cvent, Inc. (NYSE:CVT), a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, today announced a two-year corporate partnership with Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration (SHA). SHA will use Cvent's event management platform and mobile apps for its top industry events for hospitality professionals around the world.
In addition, Bharet Malhotra, senior vice president of sales at Cvent, is joining the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research Advisory Board. Other board members include industry leaders Eric Danziger, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group, Chuck Floyd, COO of Hyatt, and Kevin Jacobs, EVP and CFO of Hilton Worldwide.

By affiliating with Cornell's Center for Hospitality Research, Cvent will become an active participant in the research process, working with leading hospitality researchers and other partners from around the world to exchange ideas and develop research questions. Additionally, the company will closely interact with the research faculty at Cornell, other sponsors, and partners.
