NEW YORK and MCLEAN, VA – Cvent, Inc., the world's largest cloud-based provider of event management, meeting site selection and web surveys, today announced it was the proud recipient of two Stevie® Awards at the 10th annual American Business Awards ceremony. Reggie Aggarwal, CEO and co-founder of Cvent, was honored with the prestigious gold award in the Executive of the Year category for computer software companies. This was the top honor in a pool of fifteen finalists that included the CEOs of Citrix Systems, Inc., SAP America and TIBCO Software, Inc.

Cvent also received the silver award in the highly competitive software division of the Company of the Year category. Other silver award recipients include Red Hat,Inc. and SAP America

Under Aggarwal's leadership, Cvent has experienced tremendous growth over the past year. In July 2011, the company secured $136 million in funding that has been used for substantial technology developments, continued global expansion and growing the workforce to more than 1,000 employees worldwide. Most notably, Cvent acquired two mobile app development companies in 2012, marking their entrance into the rapidly growing mobile industry.
