2016 Plannie Award Winners Announced at Cvent CONNECT

Tysons, Va. and Las Vegas – Cvent, Inc. (NYSE: CVT), a leading event management technology company, today announced the winners of its fourth annual Plannie Awards at the company’s annual customer conference, Cvent CONNECT. The awards program recognizes event professionals from leading organizations who’ve transformed their meetings and events in exciting and innovative ways. The number of submissions received year over year continues to grow, indicating an increasing desire for professionals within the event management industry to be recognized for their achievements.

This year’s Plannie Awards included nine unique categories that reflect the various stages of the event planning lifecycle. The newest award, Cvent Advocate of the Year, honors an individual from the Cvent Advocate program which began last year.
