This year honors The Plannie’s fourth appearance at Cvent CONNECT. Think of it as The Grammys for meeting and event professionals. The Plannie Awards celebrate Cvent customers who excel in strategy, implementation, experience, design, and more. There are nine prestigious awards in all, each category representing all the wonderful achievements of our customers. Which one do you want to take home?
1. Power of the Platform: Outstanding Achievement Across the Cvent Platform
One size does not fit all when it comes to your events. Each meeting, conference, and tradeshow has its own set of unique characteristics, and nominees in this category are embracing the power of the platform and multiple Cvent solutions to meet and exceed their goals. Cisco Systems won in 2015 – who will rise to the challenge this year?
2. The Savvy Sourcer: Outstanding Achievement in Sourcing
In this category, you’ll join 2014 winner, Estee Launder Companies. Customers in this category have displayed exceptional budget-saving techniques to get the most bang for their buck when it comes to venue sourcing. Savvy Sourcers also juggle RFPs for multiple events, receive bids from numerous vendors, and execute successful events with impressive metrics.
3. The Listener: Best Event Feedback Strategy
These nominees care what people think, and we salute them. Recognizing the importance of event feedback is crucial to adapting and optimizing meetings and events. Last year, planners at the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) were recognized as feedback maximizers.
4. The Rookie: Cvent Rookie of the Year
It didn’t take long for these Cvent customers to see positive changes in their meetings and events. Though these companies may be new to the Cvent platform, their strong adoption of Cvent technology is transforming their overall event planning process. This year’s rookie will join last year’s, BBYO.
5. The SMM Star: SMM Program of the Year
Implementing a Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) is no easy feat – there are many moving parts and various stakeholders to include. The super star in this category will join last year’s winner, Medtronic.
6. The Achiever: Best Return on Event
Return-on-investment (ROI) reigns king when it comes to proving event success, and those in this category have mastered this skill set. Meeting and events are essential to businesses for training employees, engaging clients, and building strong relationships through in-person interactions. The winner in this category will join fellow goal getter, Stella & Dot.
7. The Mobile Maverick: Best Use of Mobile Event Technology
These savvy event planners have tapped into a mobile device’s ability to increase attendee engagement. From session tracking to retrieving exhibitor leads, mobile technology is powering events at exponential rates. 8. The Onsite Orchestrator: Best Onsite Experience
The onsite experience will make or break your attendees’ experience.
