One of the most exciting enhancements Cvent’s product team has ever worked on is the New Standard Registration. Within the New Standard Registration’s Site Designer, you as the planner have so much more flexibility to with your website and registration process! The entire interface is drag and drop functionality, allowing for ease of use and quick changes. You can also easily navigate between the website and registration sections, and then various pages within, to ensure you are saving time and making your updates efficiently.
Understanding Site Designer and New Standard Registration
This webinar provides some fantastic quick tips to understand the Site Designer hierarchy and functionality within. If you have not already taken a look at New Standard Registration, feel free to create a test event in your account by clicking Create Event, and selecting New Standard Registration. You can access the Site Designer by navigating to Website & Registration > Selecting either Event Website or Registration Process. This will lead you to the overall Site Designer, where you will see the navigation menu on the top left, the canvas on the main portion of your screen, and the Build and Theme menus on the right. You will add your necessary widgets from the Build menu onto the canvas, which creates the content of your entire website and registration. The Theme menu allows you to customize the design and make a beautiful, modern-looking and responsive site. Another new aspect is the Publish and Save options. By clicking Save you will simply save a draft or version of your event, whereas clicking Publish will push the changes out of the Site Designer and into the back-end of the event. If you are making many changes and want to revert back, or perhaps want to compare a few ideas with a colleague, utilize the Version History to track all previous changes.
