If you haven't already heard, Cvent has released a New Standard Registration for our event platform! This new registration allows you to customize your registration process in ways you could not previously. Have you ever wanted to add your invitee’s contact information onto the first page of registration and combine Admission Item and Session Selection on the same page? With New Standard Registration, you can do just that!
Because the New Standard Registration works through a Site Designer, you can add your preferred widgets to the process, rather than configuring settings that reflect statically as they have in the past. You can take a registration process that could have been as long as 10 pages and bring it down to just a couple by rearranging pages and widgets and ordering registration in a way that makes the most sense to you and your event.
A personal favorite of mine is “shopping-cart” style. This allows you to have the invitee select their items first and only when they are ready to “check-out” are they prompted to fill out their contact information and payment details. Another great configuration is combining all contact information onto one page, including Contact Fields and Registration Questions, and then collecting all Travel on another page. As you can see, there is so much flexibility and customization, and you can explore this at any time!
