Day 1: Foundations
Thousands of professionals from the meetings and events industry gathered at The Venetian | The Palazzo Las Vegas for Day 1 of Cvent CONNECT 2018, kicking off three days of educational sessions (including our new Training Camp experience!), networking, insider info on product updates, and inspiring keynotes.
The Leadership Summit, which took place all day Monday, was full of ideas, discussion, and inspiration. Read More.
Training Camps/Certifications -We also awarded 100 hospitality professionals and more than 300 Event Professionals with their coveted Cvent Certifications
The Innovation Pavilion opened on Monday and held product demos, a feature flash theater, product help, and more.
Happy Hour was held in the Innovation Pavilion and was sponsored by VisitDallas - complete with live music, a photo booth, make your own Frito pie, and plenty of networking.
The Leadership Summit closed with a dining experience at Bouchon - complete with conversation, great food, and an interactive kitchen station!
Day 2: Innovation
Reggie Aggarwal, Founder & CEO of Cvent, kicked the day off with a keynote where he outlined the future of meetings and events. Read More.
The Event Cloud Product Roadmap gave us an idea of what to expect in the future and gave us a great look at Project Flex. Read More.
The Hospitality Cloud Product Roadmap walked us through four areas of focus: user experience, tighter ecosystem, innovation, and business intelligence. Read more.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, attendees participated in 80+ breakout sessions, 1:1 appointments, and saw in-depth demos of Cvent solutions in the Innovation Pavilion.
The evening event was hosted by The Venetian Las Vegas.
Day 3: Connect + Celebrate
The Trade Show opened on Wednesday and was our biggest one yet. We had 330 exhibitors and more than 5,800 appointments.

Former White House Director of Events Laura Schwartz gave an inspiring keynote session where she shared her secrets to networking and building powerful, effective partnerships in our companies, communities and beyond.
The Cvent Excellence Awards (formerly known as The Plannies), where we honored top-performing event and hospitality professionals for their incredible success in utilizing the Cvent platform to deliver game-changing value to their organizations, was filled with excitement - and a few laughs!

We capped off the day with an evening Sponsored by Caesars Entertainment at the incredible Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub at the Cromwell where we had an unrivaled view of the Las Vegas strip!
Day 4
Thursday was a short day packed with final sessions, time at the Innovation pavilion, and one final keynote.
Joby Ogwyn, High-Altitude Mountain Climber, BASE Jumper, And Wing-Suit Explorer, left us inspired with a keynote on igniting your passion, following your dreams, and getting to fly!
Conclusion
This year we conquered The Power of Live, tried new things, had more attendees than ever, and fostered innovation for future success. We can't wait to see what next year has in store.
