Ever wonder what your Cvent Account Team does while at Cvent CONNECT? The Client Services team wears many hats when it comes to roles and responsibilities. From Training Camps, to meeting with customers during appointments or at the Ask the Experts Bar, you are sure to find the Client Services team hard at work.

Training Camps

This year there were five Cvent Academy Training Camps that users could attend: New User Training, Attaining Actionable Insight from Your Meetings Program, How to Deliver a Successful Hybrid Event with Cvent, For the Sourcing Specialist, and How to Host Your Webinar and Virtual Events with Cvent Attendee Hub,

Training Camps were an all day, paid experience on the first day of Cvent CONNECT. This year there were 290 Training Camp attendees.

Client Success worked with our Learning & Development teams in the months leading up to Cvent CONNECT, to prepare the content. The day of, the Client Success and Learning & Development teams presented different portions of the content they had prepared. In addition to speakers, there were also moderators at every Training Camp to help answer questions from attendees as they came up.

Ask The Experts

The “Ask the Experts” section is one of the hottest attractions at Cvent CONNECT. Located in the Innovation Pavilion, attendees were paired up with a Cvent expert from the Client Services team to ask their Cvent questions. There was a total of 101 appointments, with the hot topics being Event Management, Registration, and Attendee Hub.

Customer Appointments

Client Success Advisors onsite had the opportunity to meet with their customers onsite to discuss their accounts. This was a great opportunity to introduce customers to other Cventers that they might not have met before. This also allowed them to get immediate answers to their questions and allowed Client Services to loop in other resources there that could help. For example, onsite technology demonstrations were done right on the spot. There were 279 unique Client Services-hosted appointments during Cvent CONNECT.

Badge and Registration Desk

This year, we had an assigned Client Success Advisor at the Help Desk to use their product expertise to help adjust admission items, registration types, or sessions for attendees. She also helped with badge edits and reprints when someone lost or misplaced their badge. Additionally, she assisted with adding guest passes for night events.

Breakout Sessions

Some Client Success Advisors and Solutions Specialists had their own breakout sessions where they created the content and presented it during Cvent CONNECT.

Excellence Awards

The Excellence Awards is an award ceremony meant to highlight customers accomplishments in the meetings & events industry. This year we saw the return of hospitality awards, meaning there were 18 awards given away total. These included Marketing Mastermind, Virtual Virtuoso, Hybrid Hotshot, Power of the Platform, Rookie of the Year, and more. Nominees were invited to attend an exclusive dinner onsite where their Cvent Account Team was able to join them. During the ceremony, there was a brief video shared about each finalist and then the winner was announced.

Other Responsibilities

In addition to everything Client Services contributed above, members of the team also helped host Tech Tours to showcase the Cvent technology that was in use at Cvent CONNECT. They hosted “Feature Flashes” to showcase specific Cvent features in the Innovation Pavilion. Sometimes, we all need a little help figuring out where to go, and that is what the Info Desks were for! If you needed help finding a session, a meeting, or just had a general question, the Client Services team was ready to help.
