Cvent’s exponential growth in the US has never been a secret, but we now hope to replicate that success globally. With an objective to offer end-to‐end meetings, events, and travel technology solutions to organisations around the globe, we saw our new offices open in Singapore and Australia this year.
Since Cvent has had a growing footprint in Asia Pacific for nearly a decade, our new Singapore office has helped us move closer to our customer base in the region. Keeping that in mind, Cvent recently attended ITB Asia, an annual, three-day B2B trade show, and convention for the travel industry. ITB Asia is the premier meeting place for the travel trade industry and a forum for establishing high-quality customer contacts and conducting businesses. This is where international exhibitors of all sectors within the travel-value chain commerce, and Asia Pacific’s leading travel companies and emerging SMEs meet with top international buyers from the MICE, leisure, and corporate travel markets.
This year, the eleventh annual ITB Asia was held in Singapore, at the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Cvent hosted an action-packed session at ITB on the future of MICE and travel technologies. In the session, named "From Near to Far: Forecasting the Future of MICE and Travel Technologies," Cvent's Will Kataria spoke about how some of the disruptive technologies are already making an impact by helping event organisers source venues, enhance attendee onsite experiences, increase networking, and get the most from their travel programs. The session also provided a glimpse at the future of MICE and Travel technologies.
After seeing the great response from various corporates and travel firms at the tradeshow, Cvent expects to visit ITB Asia again next year, hopefully with even more educational and informative content.
