What are the Cvent Excellence Awards?
Held annually during Cvent CONNECT, the Cvent Excellence Awards celebrate customers from across the globe who are driving innovation in the meetings, events, and hospitality industry. The 12th annual awards will recognize Cvent users from organizations of all sizes across industries for their ingenuity and dedication.
Our awards ceremony has always featured remarkable moments, incredible performances, and an evening of celebration with the industry's brightest stars. This year, the Excellence Awards will be bigger and better than ever as we broadcast our hybrid awards ceremony from San Antonio during Cvent CONNECT. What’s new for the 2024 Cvent Excellence Awards?
We have several new categories this year for both event and hospitality professionals, including our first-ever Hotel & Planner Collaboration Award. We'll also be honoring our first-ever event professional lifetime achievement nominees and celebrating more finalists than ever before.
This year, the awards ceremony will be bigger and better than ever - a true testament to our host city in the Lone Start state. We'll be highlighting the successes of our amazing finalists across the conference and celebrating with VIP experiences, giveaways, fabulous entertainment, and plenty of surprises.
Not able to make it to Cvent CONNECT in-person? No problem! Our global awards program will celebrate finalists both onsite and virtually in front of tens of thousands of industry professionals.
What do finalists and winners receive?
All finalist organizations receive two (2) free Cvent CONNECT registrations. You'll also enjoy exclusive VIP experiences and the opportunity to promote your success in front of thousands of your peers.
Onsite, you'll also attend our catered banquet filled with entertainment and plenty of celebratory moments (check out the 2023 awards ceremony here!). All finalists will also receive an engraved plaque of appreciation and winners receive a customized trophy to commemorate their achievements.
How can you submit?
Submitting is easier than ever! Submit via our website and follow these simple steps:
- Create a quick login (doesn’t need to be your Cvent credentials)
- Choose the categories you'd like to apply to
- Fill in a few questions and upload any desired media
- Submit!
You can edit or even save and return to your submission later. A Cvent account team member can submit on your behalf, with permission. Again, you don't have to attend Cvent CONNECT to submit, though we’d love to see you there!

When's the deadline?
The deadline is March 25, so don't wait to get your submission in! Finalists will be selected by an executive committee of industry leaders, and we will announce finalists via our website and email on or before May 1, 2024.

- Ace of Spaces: This category is for those who are sourcing and managing safe in-person experiences using Cvent Exchange solutions like Cvent Supplier Network or Passkey.
- Marketing Mastermind: If you’re a guru when it comes to event marketing or leveraging events a channel within your marketing mix, this is the category for you.
- The Impact Icon: This category is for those who have leveraged event tech to deliver meaningful experiences that create a measurable impact.
- Pivotal Partner: This award is designed specifically for travel, events, and meetings management agencies or Cvent Alliance Partners to showcase their success.
- The Rookie: If you’re a new Cvent user with a contract that started January 1, 2023 or later, this category is designed just for you!
- Power of the Platform: Single Event: This category is for those who use three or more Cvent solutions to power a single, complex event.
- Power of the Platform: Total Event Program: This category is for those who use Cvent to support and optimize their total event program.
- Cvent Superstar: This “people’s choice” award is selected by members of the Cvent Community and honors individual contributors who are sharing the power of the Cvent platform.
- NEW! The Great Integrator: This category honors those who demonstrate outstanding achievement in leveraging technology integrations with Cvent to drive program success.
- NEW! Hotel & Planner Collaboration Award: This shared award highlights the collaborative relationship between event professional organizations and choice hotel, hotel chain, venue, or DMO who together deliver exceptional event experiences.
Hospitality Professionals

- The Block Buster: This award celebrates the hospitality professionals that use Cvent Passkey to simplify tasks and opportunities of room block management.
- The Business Intelligencer: This category recognizes organizations that use CSN Business Intelligence to create new opportunities for sales and marketing teams.
- The Group Game Challenger: This category honors organizations that consistently deliver superior results across their sales and marketing programs by using CSN Advertising.
