Being aware of our impact on the environment isn't just trendy - it can make a huge difference to your attendees as well!

When we plan events with the environment in mind, we're making sure that not only are we planning the best possible event, but we’re also ensuring the longevity of our shared world. We wanted to shine a spotlight (powered by green energy and LEDs, of course!) on our local venues that make an extra effort to ensure that your event affects the hearts and minds of your attendees while affecting the health of our planet as little as possible.

Museum of Flight

The Charles Simonyi Space Gallery at the Museum of Flight is more than just a beautiful space (pun not intended), it's LEED Gold Certified! Wow your guests by hosting an event under a full-size model of the Space Shuttle used to train astronauts for their missions, and while you're impressing them with out-of-this-world sights, you can feel great about your impact back here on Earth by knowing that you've chosen a facility that keeps our planet's health in mind.

Cedarbrook Lodge

Not only is the Cedarbrook Lodge deeply entwined with the lush landscape around it, but they also take that interconnection through to the rest of their practices. Their restaurant and catering serve local, organic food with 100% compostable take-out boxes and utensils, and they compost their own kitchen waste. Their Green NATÜRA bath products are eco-friendly, they use only environmentally friendly cleaning supplies, and their housekeeping staff uniforms are made from recycled plastic! They’re also currently pursuing LEED certification.

Host an event at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport with their bright, beautiful, energy-efficient lighting and feel good about the dining options knowing that they are made with sustainably sourced ingredients! The faucets, toilets, and showers throughout the property are water-efficient to reduce wasted water. This property also boasts Green Seal, Hilton LightStay, ISO 50001, and ISO 14001 certification for sustainable and green practices! As with all the other Hilton properties on this list, they participate in a soap and toiletry donation program to keep partially used items out of landfills.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport

Responsibly sourced food is on the menu here, with a special emphasis on responsibly sourced seafood! This hotel boasts the Hilton LightStay, ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport

That's not the only place where water is on the mind, with water-efficient toilets and showers also making a splash. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Tacoma International Airport boasts the Green Seal, Hilton LightStay, ISO 50001, and ISO 14001 certifications.
