Los Cabos has long been known for its otherworldly landscapes and unique experiences. Now, it can add “world-class meeting and convention destination” to its list of benefits, thanks to the grand reopening of the Los Cabos International Convention Center (ICC). After a significant renovation, the new ICC boasts more than 72,000 square feet of functional meeting space, accommodating up to 8,000 people.
Built with sustainability at its core, the new ICC is LEED certified and features more than 1,000 solar panels, state-of-the-art water treatment and reclamation facilities, and LED lighting throughout. It will also be home to the world's largest green wall — 29,000 square feet — which serves as an insulator and prevents the building from overheating during the warm summer months.
Seamlessly situated amid the natural beauty of San Jose del Cabo, the facility features a terrace overlooking the Sea of Cortez — one of many architectural considerations meant to highlight the breathtaking scenery beyond its walls. It is strategically located near The Corridor, a 20-mile stretch of stunning beaches, luxury resorts, and world-class golf courses that connects San Jose del Cabo with its lively and legendary counterpart, Cabo San Lucas.
