Cvent Named a Leader
Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Event Marketing and Management Platforms

We are proud to announce that Cvent has again been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Event Marketing and Management Platforms, recognized for both our Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. For the third consecutive year, Gartner has recognized Cvent as a Leader. We believe this recognition reflects something larger than a strong platform — it reflects the direction the industry is moving, and Cvent’s commitment to leading it.

Events – Value No Other Channel Can Match

At Cvent, we have a deep conviction that events produce something no other marketing channel replicates: deep engagement from buyers who choose to show up. Real-time intent signals from audiences who are leaning in. And — at a moment when AI is making trust harder to earn and first-party data harder to come by — human connection that no algorithm can manufacture.

That’s why events have become one of the most powerful drivers of pipeline, revenue, membership, and relationships in the modern go-to-market mix. For many CMOs and marketing executives, meetings and events now represent the single largest line item in the marketing program budget.

And yet, for too many organizations, there continues to be a disconnect between that investment and its impact. Buying signals go uncaptured and unshared. The most compelling content an organization produces quietly disappears when the event ends. The community built over months resets to zero. And the business impact of all of it becomes nearly impossible to measure.

The problem isn’t the event. It’s the absence of a connected technology layer that captures the value every event produces and puts it to work.

Cvent powers event-led growth

This is the problem Cvent is building to solve; a platform to power event-led growth, one that allows organizations to run unified event programs across every format, capture the engagement those programs produce, and activate it continuously across the business

We believe:

Event technology should connect your event channel

In-person events, virtual events, and webinars should work together as a unified program — one audience journey, across every event format. This means each event runs on one system. Data isn’t siloed, and organizers don’t have to go in and out of multiple tools to get their job done. Connected also means connected to your CRM, marketing automation, and sales workflows, so no buying signal goes unacted on.

Event technology should have AI infused throughout

Every part of the event life cycle is being reimagined through the lens of AI; from how planners work, to how attendees receive value, how impact is proved, and how content is amplified. So AI shouldn’t just be a feature sitting on top of a product. It should be infused throughout the platform, built on secure enterprise infrastructure, informed by high-quality data, and applied through deep industry expertise.

Event technology should power year-round engagement

The quality of content prepared for – and delivered at – events is great fuel for an always-on content engine.  Content fuels audience and community growth, those communities fuel event participation, and then those next events - in turn —produce more and richer content. It’s a virtuous loop.  But that virtuous loop only closes when content is captured and activated systematically — and that's what event technology should enable.

Event technology can be centrally owned, but must allow for global operation

Governance, brand standards, and data control are vital elements that allow programs to operate at scale. But regional and field teams need the flexibility to execute independently, across every format, without a separate tool or workflow. The right event technology shouldn’t force a choice; it should enable both.

What We Believe This Gartner Recognition Reflects

It’s against this backdrop that being named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant is so rewarding; validation that Cvent is building the platform best suited to the go-forward needs of event organizers and the organizations they serve.

In our view, the Gartner process is rigorous and comprehensive in the Critical Capabilities report. They assess vendors across three distinct Use Cases: Hosted In-Person Conferences with Exhibitors, Conferences / Roadshows, and Hosted In-Person Field Marketing Events. Cvent ranked #1 across all three — a result we believe reflects not just the breadth of our current platform, but the coherence of our forward vision.

We are honored by this recognition. We are also energized by what it represents: an analyst community that sees — as we do — that events are not logistics. They are among the highest-signal, highest-trust, highest-ROI channels in the modern growth stack. To us, this Gartner recognition is validation that Cvent is building the right platform, in the right direction, at the right moment.
