Construction is underway for the new Arlington Convention Center! The cornerstone of the massive $810 million expansion of Arlington’s Convention Campus, the project will also include a $550 million, 888-room Loews Arlington Hotel.
Situated between Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium, the development will be accessible to the 300-room Live! by Loews hotel via a sky bridge. The new space incorporates a combined 1,188 guestrooms and nearly 300,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Centrally located between two coasts with easy access to DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field, the new Arlington Convention Center will offer conveniently walkable access to Arlington’s marquis sports, dining, and cultural attractions. The ever-evolving Convention Campus in the Arlington Entertainment District delivers a vibrant, CAN DO environment and is ideal for events of any size.
Having broken ground in October of last year, the Arlington Convention Center is set to open in 2024. The expansion is the next phase of a $4 billion vision by the City of Arlington, Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies, and Loews Hotels & Co. that began with the $250 million Texas Live! entertainment complex which opened August 2018, and Live! by Loews Hotel which opened in August 2019.
