  1. ACL Live at The Moody Theater and 3TENACL Live at The Moody Theater is one of the best known music venues in the city and home to America’s longest-running television music series Austin City Limits, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2024. Located downstairs is 3TEN, a 350-seat listening room that presents smaller “house” shows by local and touring artists, and is also available for private events. Be sure to snap a group selfie with the statue of hometown music hero Willie Nelson out front.
  2. Assembly Hall: New East Austin venue Assembly Hall is an elegant addition to the city’s offerings, offering a unique backdrop for a wide range of private and public events. The versatile space offers a 5,500 square foot Main Hall, 1,000 square foot Meeting Room, and a 2,000 square foot Courtyard, with arched windows and industrial features.
  3. Bull & Bowl: Events at Bull & Bowl offer unmatched fun for groups. With experiences ranging from a mechanical bull designed by the Professional Bull Riders Association, to the country’s first duckpin bowling alley, an arcade and 2 private karaoke rooms, this is the perfect space for intimate team building groups and full buyouts for up to 210 guests. The 9,000 square foot space offers elevated American fare, with a southwest flavor, and a full bar with new spins on classic cocktails.
  4. Holey Moly: Inject your next Austin event with some seriously fun team building and bonding at the new Holey Moley Golf Club. This Insta-worthy, 27-hole indoor miniature golf course is a truly immersive experience, within walking distance from the Austin Convention Center and other downtown hotels. Holey Moley can accommodate 500 people, along with corporate parties for groups of 10+. Reserve a private area and arrange for a customizable food and beverage package that fits your budget.
  5. Inn Cahoots: Attendees will rave about the Austin city views from the rooftop deck at Inn Cahoots, a four-story boutique hotel and venue. The roof’s event space is 2,400 square feet (large enough for 180 people), but the hotel offers a total of 8,000 square feet of space outdoors and inside to meet your needs. Book a dinner for 15 or arrange for a full buyout for 520 guests.
  6. Maggie Mae’s: Originally opened in 1978, Maggie Mae’s recently reopened after 3 years of renovations. One of the city’s longest running music venues, the space offers 11,000+ square feet of event space, five bars, two stages, multiple floors (all wheelchair accessible) and great city views from the rooftop deck. It’s the perfect spot to bring a group or do a full buyout for up to 790 guests, thanks to its location steps away from the Convention Center and numerous downtown hotels.
  7. Mayfair: For an event with 500 attendees, consider Mayfair on West Sixth Street. The Victorian-inspired nightlife venue impresses with its versatility. The main area is 6,800 square feet and has two bars. The outdoor terrace with a bar and amazing Austin downtown views is 3,000 square feet. Book one or both spaces. For smaller gatherings, arrange for a group of VIP tables for your guests to enjoy the night’s scheduled entertainment.
  8. Parkside: Recently renovated Parkside has been a favorite on Austin’s dining scene since 2008, known for their local-intensive, seasonal menu of elevated American fare. The remodel included increasing its private event space and catering facilities, and now offers a permanent first-floor private dining room with seating up to 40. The second-floor private room ceilings have been raised and capacity increased to allow for 120 seated or 200 standing. The private bar has been expanded and now features a covered patio overlooking lively Sixth Street
  9. Superstition: Consider creating your own exclusive event reminiscent of a 1970s dance party at Superstition nightclub. Superstition offers multiple private lounges, or you can rent the whole nightclub with a total capacity of 1,100, complete with a balcony, a private green room, an expansive dance floor and plenty of shiny disco balls.
  10. Symphony Square and Moody Amphitheater: Waterloo Greenway, an urban park along Waller Creek in downtown Austin, features art installations and concerts at Jane Dunn Sibley Symphony Square, an open-air amphitheater. Spaces are available in beautiful outdoor settings or inside a historic building. In 2021, the revamped Waterloo Greenway unveiled the architecturally stunning Moody Amphitheater located within 11 acres of greenspace that includes gardens, elevated walkways and hiking trails. The downtown venue accommodates 5,000 people for special events, concerts and festivals, with a spacious Great Lawn and the Texas State Capitol as a dramatic backdrop.
