Lake Martin is located in Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa counties in Alabama. It is a 44,000-acre reservoir with over 750 miles of wooded shoreline. Lake Martin is a reservoir, enlarged by the construction of Martin Dam on the Tallapoosa River.

Scenic public recreational golf course offering 54-holes on three courses plus waterside views. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is a collection of championship-caliber golf courses at eleven sites across Alabama.

Smith Mountain Fire Tower and Trails are located just outside Dadeville, Alabama, just off Youngs Ferry Road.

The Tuskegee National Forest is a U.S. National Forest located in Macon County, Alabama, just north of Tuskegee and west of Auburn. The topography is level to moderately sloping, with broad ridges with stream terraces and broad floodplains.

Started in the 1970’s as Butch Anthony’s taxidermy shop and artifact room, the Museum of Wonder is now filled with art, artifacts and antiques, and some very strange items!

The site preserves the legacy and associated historic structures of the historic Tuskegee Institute, a college for African Americans founded in 1881.
