Woburn Abbey first opened to the public in 1955 and has welcomed visitors from all over the globe. There are 22 rooms that you can experience, which house one of the most significant private art collections in the world. As you explore the many individual rooms of Woburn Abbey, you will also discover 18th Century French and English furniture, magnificent silver and gold collections, in the underground vaults, and a marvellous range of porcelain and many privately collected items treasured by generations of the Russell family. These captivating rooms and fascinating antiques show a personal side to a public family that has been instrumental in many significant periods of English history. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Opening 31st March 2012, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is a behind-the-scenes walking tour which immerses guests into the exciting world of film-making. The tour features authentic sets, costumes and props from the Harry Potter film series located at the studio where it was filmed, and showcases the British artistry, technology and talent that go into producing world renowned movies. The Studio Tour will initially focus on the Harry Potter film series, incorporating some of its most iconic sets including the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, Diagon Alley and the Gryffindor common room.

Enjoy the 'best snow this side of the Alps' at The Snow Centre on the impressive 160m main slope with perfect real snow conditions year round. Visitors can enjoy recreational skiing and snowboarding or lessons with BASI qualified instructors who provide first class tuition at all levels - from your first experience of snow through to performance coaching. The Snow Centre is a great family or party venue where all ages enjoy zipping down the slopes on a Zipfly Sledge or a Ringo followed by a delicious meal or snack in The Edge Cafe with panoramic views of the slopes.

The Court Theatre presents events most weeks of the year and provides a wide range and variety of entertainment. The Court Theatre at Pendley, Tring was established in 1978 and is set in a fine Victorian building dating back exactly 100 years from the date we opened it as a theatre. Originally a riding school, The Court Theatre is set in the attractive woodland estate of Pendley Manor (once the family home of Dorian Williams, the famous television sport commentator) on the rural outskirts of Tring.

Set in 600 acres of panoramic scenery in the rolling Chiltern Hills, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is a big day out on an altogether different scale. Explore the sights, smells and sounds of the UK’s biggest zoo and meet some of the biggest animals on the planet. •ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. •Last admission is one hour before advertised closing time. •Children under 16 will not be admitted without an adult.

Lionel Walter, 2nd Baron Rothchild (1868 - 1937) acquired specimens of thousands of animals, birds, insects, fish and reptiles. In 1937 the Zoological Museum became part of the Natural History Museum but the collection continues to be shown in its Victorian setting. Discovery room, picnic areas, cafe and gift shop.
