Hundreds of years of erosion formed caves, sinkholes and pavements into the limestone hills because of their proximity to the water. He park includes “Plana Novella” – a pre-modernist country estate restored by Buddhist monks and ultimately becoming a Tibetan Buddhist Monestary in 1996.
