Airport facilities now include a terminal building, restaurant, hangars, and numerous other airplane-related businesses. In 1988, an air traffic control tower was opened by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). By this time SBP had scheduled service from Wings West, Skywest, WestAir, and later American Eagle. Passenger service from San Luis Obispo was here to stay. Service today is provided by United Airlines, American Airlines, and Alaska Airlines through their respective regional partners.

The Ravine Waterpark was first opened in June of 2007. Each year has been better than the previous one. The waterpark has been a wonderful addition to the Paso Robles community and to the Central Coast in general. Set squarely in the midst of vineyards and wineries, with two golf courses just down the road, the location is ideal for families that want to accomodate a range of activities. Each year, we anticipate implementing more attractions or events to keep things fresh.. Groups The Ravine Waterpark is the perfect venue to host school field trips, church outings, reunions, birthday parties or corporate events. Customize your day with delicious meal options, catering, cabanas, and covered pavilions. Private parties with live music and extended hours at Tiki Bar can be added to create an unforgettable event. Rates vary according to the size of your group and add on options.

Internationally-acclaimed artist Bruce Munro has premiered his largest artwork to date—an enormous multi-acre walk-through installation—at Sensorio in Paso Robles, California. Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio is comprised of an array of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics, gently illuminating the landscape in subtle blooms of morphing color that describe the undulating landscape. Powered by solar, the stunning exhibition captivates visitors, inviting them to engage with the landscape and environment through an ethereal light-based and sculptural experience. Smithsonian Magazine has called Munro’s art “stunning,” while The Guardian noted, “This is art you feel, rather than art you view.”

The Fair opened in 1946 and was first known as the San Luis Obispo County Fair. The California Mid-State Fair is held annually and runs for 12 days at the end of July. The Fair has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry. Artists such as Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Journey, Rod Stewart, Fergie, Justin Bieber, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney have all performed on our Main Grandstand Arena stage. Facilities are located at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles.

Located just across the street from the Paso Robles Inn, it is the perfect place to picnic, play or stroll through before or after seeing a movie, shopping, or eating at one of the many nearby merchants. City Park has always been the favorite location of events and gatherings celebrating everything from such local holidays as Pioneer Day and the Mid-State Fair Pancake Breakfast to national holidays such as the 4th of July. City Park hosts "Concerts in the Park," Trading Day, the Wine Festival and several car shows.
