We'll take you to the places you HAVE to see, all the while providing you with the stories behind the sights…After our tour, you’ll know about everything from how last nights lobster dinner was caught to how Cadillac Mountain got its name.

Escape the crowds and enjoy a private cruise aboard a classic Friendship Sloop. Get involved by hauling the sails or relax with a glass of wine on a sunset sail. Wildlife abounds and is best seen from a smaller sloop rather than large crowded vessels. We see seals, porpoise, eagles, and osprey. Boats depart from Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor on day sails, sunset-sails, lobster bakes, and private charters. Six guests maximum, appetizers and soft drinks included.

The Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company sails daily throughout the season from the pier of The Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina in downtown Bar Harbor. Humpback, finback and minke whales, seals, otters, dolphins, porpoises, lighthouses, puffins and eagles are some of the beautiful things you will have an opportunity to see. Our Galley includes a variety of sandwiches, snacks and refreshments, including alcoholic beverages. We are the only whale watch that offers on-site parking so you may enjoy the voyage knowing your car is in a safe and secure location.
