On Christmas Eve 1895, George Vanderbilt began the tradition of gathering at Biltmore, his newly completed 250-room country estate in Asheville, NC. His mountain home was—and still is—a place unlike any other. Biltmore and its 8,000 majestic acres are located in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
