Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal Meeting Space
More
The Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal, one of the most remarkable concert halls and conference centres in Europe and a member of the Historic Conference Centres of Europe (HCCE), looks down over the town from a green hillside. There is nowhere else quite like it in Germany. It was built in 1900 in the magnificent, opulent style characteristic of the period of Emperor William II and reopened in 1995 after masterly renovation, with the result that its original splendour and unique acoustics are now combined with state-of-the-art technical equipment. The multifunctional Großer Saal is truly magnificent. The sight of this vast room with its sumptuous gilt decoration. The Jugendstil echoes which are a feature of the neoclassical Mendelssohn Saal make it an ideal and attractive setting for chamber concerts, seminars and smaller conferences, or indeed for other purposes, because it interconnects with the Majolika rooms on either side of it. As the rooms of the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal are of different sizes and shapes they provide almost endless versatility. The seven rooms, reception area and winter garden, together with the atmospheric Rossini restaurant, offer almost boundless possibilities for whatever kind of function you might be thinking about: concerts with an audience of over 1,000, private receptions, banquets, galas, seminars, conferences, congresses, trade fairs, exhibitions.
