From May through September Assiniboia Downs is the place to be for live horse racing, simulcast racing, Las Vegas style Club West Lounge, featuring 140 VLT’s. During the live racing season, the Terrace Dining Room is the best place to watch the horses thunder past the finish line while enjoy the perfect Prime Rib Buffet Dinner. From May to September, Assiniboia Downs is one of the most popular “year-round” dining and entertainment spots in Winnipeg and Manitoba. We’re located where Portage Avenue West intersects the Perimeter Hwy. Operated by the non-profit Manitoba Jockey Club.
