In einem über 30 ha großen Gelände erstreckt sich ein Landschaftspark mit unterschiedlichen Elementen wie den Wassergärten, dem angrenzenden Sportpark mit dem Freizeitbad Laguna und zahlreichen Sportanlagen, dem Sundgauhaus und einer ehemaligen Kiesabbau- fläche als Kunstlandschaft Kies. In letzterer befindet sich auch der Hadid-Pavillon und die Naturarena, die im Sommer für Freilichtaufführungen dient.

Kunstraum Kieswerk is an original industrial landmark, an old gravel pit in Dreilaendergarten, Basel city area, reconstructed into a modern art space and occasionally into an exclusive event venue. All over the place you can dive into incredible art works filling your mind and soul with inspiration. The Art Space Kunstraum Kieswerk offers seven separate areas for hosting business events and private celebrations with capacity from 10 to 400 persons. For hosting larger groups (up to 500, 700, 1000 or more guests) we can combine additional venues in Dreiländergarten area.
