Washington Hilton offers a contemporary urban retreat in the heart of D.C.’s most sought-after neighborhoods, including Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, U Street Corridor, and Embassy Row. Since its opening in 1965, the historic hotel has been host to presidents, dignitaries, notable figures, and prestigious events. The property boasts 118,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including its legendary 30,000 square-foot International Ballroom, as well as 1,107 guest rooms.Washington Hilton features a seasonal outdoor heated pool deck and kids pool, complete with an unobstructed view of the Washington Monument; a 11,000 square foot courtyard with fire pits and water feature; a state-of-the-art health club, offering a range of exercise classes and equipment; on-site Monumental Tours representative; Fedex Office Business Center; and Hertz Car Rental. An experienced concierge is available to guests to make local recommendations and reservations. The hotel has four distinctive on-site dining outlets; Four Oaks, Sidecar, McClellan’s Sports Bar, and District Line Café & Market. Washington Hilton has continued its longstanding commitment to enhancements and renovations with updates to its meeting space and premium suites. In 2024, all Lobby, Terrace, and Concourse level meeting rooms were refurbished with new carpet and vinyl. The Presidential, Dupont, and Kalorama Suites have been completely renovated including all-new furniture. In 2021, the iconic International Ballroom received an update with new carpet installation. In February 2020, the hotel completed a full soft goods renovation of the guestrooms, giving the rooms a modern look and feel in-theme with the recent lobby renovation. In 2017, the hotel unveiled a complete lobby-level renovation inspired by the hotel’s original 1960s design. Bold geometric shapes mix with comfortable sophistication, while bright, airy, open spaces are accented with modern décor and notable finishes iconic to Washington, D.C.
