About us
Goose Bay Canyon is nestled on the banks of the Vaal River and offers professional, personal service in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Situated just 1 hour from Johannesburg, this up market venue boasts state of the art conference facilities, a beautiful glass fronted function venue and lapa / pool area, overlooking the river and canyon. 16 fully air conditioned twin en-suite rooms are available, all with panoramic views of the river and canyon. Wedding receptions of up to 100 guests are hosted in the main venue with the ceremony either in a draped chapel area on the banks of the river or in the stone chapel at Heaven on Vaal. Catering is totally flexible and designed around the preference of our couples. All the wedding guests can be accommodated either at Goose Bay or within walking distance from us.
