Luxmi Vilas Palace

Studded with forts starting from the hills of Pavagadh, and extending into the city of Champaner – The Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park offers a heritage site including archaeological, historic and living cultural heritage monuments such as a hill fortress of an early Hindu capital, and remains of the 16th-century capital of the state of Gujarat. Dating from the 8th to the 14th century, the park displays palaces, entrance gates, arches and tombs. Located on the top near the Kalika Mata Temple is an important Hindu shrine, that attracts a large numbers of pilgrims throughout the year.
