Waiau Estate Cafe Bar & Restaurant is located in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Waiau started life as a winery and in the early days the barn was also used as accommodation for the owners. Seven years ago it was converted to the restaurant, Café and functions venue that it is today. Waiau continues to ooze rustic charm. The refurbished barn with its variety of indoor and outdoor seating areas set amongst the stunning one hectare gardens with manicured lawns and mature trees is simply a magic place. Waiau has many appeals, perfect for formal or casual dining, or just a snack. It is an ideal venue for business meetings, weddings and special occasion functions.
