About us
Sudeley Castle has changed hands over a dozen times during its history and today it is the private home of Lord and Lady Ashcombe, Henry and Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst and their families. The history of Sudeley Castle and its award-winning gardens spans over a thousand years and contains many varied tales of royal associations, wars and periods of neglect and subsequent restoration. The castle provides ample space for weddings and meetings for the guests. One of them is The Medieval Banqueting Hall which is an ideal Castle setting with its baronial armour, banners, flagstone floor and roaring fire if required, looks wonderful in candlelight. The hall can accommodate 100 guests for either a civil ceremony between November and March or a wedding breakfast all year round.

We have three beautifully located Marquee sites within the Castle grounds, all with spectacular views of the Castle, 15th Century Ruins and surrounded by the Cotswold Hills with a capacity of 500 plus guests.
