Miami City Ballet (MCB) is among the largest ballet companies in the United States. We have toured all over the United States and have danced in more than 100 U.S. cities. The Miami City Ballet School, which opened in Miami Beach in January 1993, trains students for a professional career in ballet. The School has an enrollment of more than 350 students, and no child of talent is turned away for lack of funds.

Take a trip through time and experience an exhilarating ritual dating back to the battles of the singular, and notorious, Napoleon Bonaparte. In both victory and defeat, Bonaparte was famous for opening Champagne bottles with his saber. At the St. Regis, the art of sabrage is a signature ceremony—sans battles—in our Evening Rituals series. We perform this thrilling ceremony at sunset to celebrate everything from a day on the polo field to welcoming new guests. You will even learn the art of Champagne sabrage as taught by our head Sommelier. Included in this experience are Champagne, exquisite bonbons and the fascinating history of this legendary practice.
