About us

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is Canada's leading convention and trade show facility. Recognized as top of class by meeting and event planners around the world, the MTCC offers over 700,000 square feet of flexible and contemporary space. The facility features 442,000 square feet of exhibit space, 77 meeting rooms, multi-purpose ballrooms, and a theatre equipped for performing arts as well as corporate events. The Centre is ideally located for any event, steps away from Canada’s top attractions, restaurants and hotels. Union Station and the UP Express, a 25-minute air-rail link to Pearson International Airport, can be accessed via indoor tunnel.

We are proud to say that our efforts have been recognized through various awards and recognitions, which include: Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) Award of Excellence for Sustainable Tourism (2020) This award recognizes our facility for contributions to the practice and promotion of sustainable tourism in Ontario. BOMA Outstanding Building of the Year Award (TOBY) – Public Assembly (2017) This prestigious recognition is awarded to facilities with the highest levels of quality in many categories of building operations including energy conservation, building performance, security standards and community impact. BOMA Certificate of Building Excellence (2017) We received this award in recognition of our high standards and excellence in areas including operations, community impact, sustainability, conservation and building management. BOMA BEST (2017) The Platinum certification is based on an impressive 93 percent score received in categories including energy conservation, waste reduction, indoor environment, and environmental management systems. The Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM): The Give Back Award (2016) The Give Back Award recognizes a member organization who, not for financial reasons, has contributed to the enhancement of their community, within the past year. This award was received as a result of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program which works to incorporate community involvement and social responsibility into the fabric of our culture.
