Hotel Ristorante Carnia was inaugurated in July 1979. The most important reconstruction meetings were held in the restaurant. Among the most memorable is that of President Pertini, who stopped in 1983 when he came to Friuli to visit the earthquake-stricken areas until Napolitano's recent visit (May 2012). A hotel "son of the earthquake", but above all a symbol of rebirth, which twenty years later has been completely renovated.
