The Numerica Skyride offers the best, upfront views of the Spokane Falls that run through downtown Spokane. You will travel past art deco City Hall, then gradually drop down 200 feet over the Huntington Park Natural Area. From there, you will continue across the Spokane River in front of one set of falls, under the historic Monroe Street bridge and return to Riverfront Park. While the best views are March through June when water is raging, there is always something beautiful to see.

The Riverfront Park Carrousel, also known as the Looff Carrousel and the Natatorium Park Carousel, is a carousel in Spokane, Washington built in 1909 by Charles I. D. Looff as a gift for Looff's daughter Emma Vogel and her husband Louis Vogel, who owned Natatorium Park in Spokane.

The Spokane Falls consists of the upper and lower falls on the Spokane River, making the Spokane Falls the largest urban waterfalls in the country. Located in the heart of downtown, there are multiple stunning viewpoints to see the falls. It’s the sound that gets you first. A low rumble in the distance calls out to first-time visitors and locals alike. The Spokane Waterfalls build to a deafening crescendo the closer you get. Especially in May when the mountain snow runoff is at its peak. Its power alone leads us to understand why the Native American tribes considered the place sacred. Winding for miles through thick basalt formations, the Spokane River carves out a gorge dividing the bustle of the city with spectacular natural beauty. From the tribes who made it their annual meeting place to the present day, the Falls serve as a centerpiece for the city.

Originally built as the U.S. Federal Pavilion for Expo '74, the Pavilion was a gift to Spokane from the United States government. In 2019, a major renovation was completed transforming the Pavilion into a one-of-a-kind open-air venue complete with tiered landscaping, a 40-foot tall platform that provides sweeping views of Spokane's skyline and the Spokane River, and LED lights that bring the space to life in colors and patterns after dark. Terrain Gallery has become a critical and important space for artists and the public alike. In addition to being one of the most beautiful, well-respected galleries in town, Terrain Gallery hosts a myriad of public events including artist-led workshops, artist panels and talks, and large, collaborative showcases like Spokane Print Fest. One of the foundational principles of Terrain Gallery is to show the work of as diverse populations as possible. To date, we have shown the work of 189 artists. Of those 189 artists, 73 identify as artists of color, 47 LGBTQ+, and 76 women. We have also sought out partnerships with additional underrepresented voices, including unsheltered teens and Spokane's immigrant populations.
