Bibione is a long stretch of beach, in front of the town and the pine forest, closed off at both ends by the lagoon and by the Tagliamento River. It has four areas with suggestive names, which, from east to west, are Lido dei Pini, Bibione Beach, Lido del Sole and Bibione Pine Forest. Each has its own special features that makes it unique. Bibione, the beach with the second greatest number of visitors in Italy, is an island linked to the mainland by a bridge over the Veneto coastline; the resort is in Venice province, over on the eastern side of Veneto close to the Friuli Venezia Giulia border, its north-west boundary is formed by lagoons and fishing valleys and its east boundary is formed by Tagliamento river while the south has the Adriatic Sea.
