Basum Lake means “green water” in Tibetan language. Basum lake is more than 3700 meters above sea level, and the lake area is more than 6 thousand mu, located in the deep forest from the Gongbo‘gyamda County more than 50 km, Basum Lake in 1994 was named as the national scenic spots.
