The Barr Castle is situated in the town of Galston, East Ayrshire. The Barr Castle or Lockharts Tower has no exact date of being built, but over the recent years the museum committee has tried to put together as much history available to them. Many weddings have taken place in the Barr Castle and we would like to see many more weddings in the castle. The Wedding ceremony takes place in the Main Hall of the Barr Castle and holds a maximum of 80 guests. Wedding Receptions can be held in the Barr Social Club which is within easy walking distance of the Barr Castle.
