The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are located along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and the adjacent East Blvd. from St. Clair Avenue to the south in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. This string of 26 nationality gardens is unique to Cleveland, Ohio and for that matter unique to this Country and the World. Various nationalities that call Cleveland home have collaborated in development of their respective garden to memorialize and share with the World their culture and history. Thus, this unique park is a great educational tool, as well as a great place to relax, enjoy nature in the midst of a city, walk or ride a bike, see statues of significant personalities or depictions of far away lands.

Named after the Dublin Red-Light District in James Joyce’s Ulysses, Nighttown, possesses the ambiance of turn of the century New York restaurants. Leaded, etched, and stained glass, combined with a collection of memorabilia from earlier eras decorate the six distinctly different dining rooms and three active bars. Since opening day, February 5, 1965, the menu has been a model of consistency, while always evolving as food trends change. Walk into Nighttown at just about any time and you’ll find corporate titans, doctors from nearby Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital, Cleveland Orchestra members in tuxedos seated next to the patrons they just entertained, as well as college students from Case Western Reserve University, neighbors stopping in for a quick bite, lovers on dates, pre and post-theatergoers, people from all over the world traveling on U.S. State Department junkets and writers who are terribly flattered when someone mentions the fact their face is on a plaque in the Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame (which just happens to be located at Nighttown).

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the James A. Garfield Monument is the final resting place of the 20th President of the United States. The building combines Romanesque, Gothic and Byzantine styles of architecture. Guided tours will discuss the President’s life, and the beauty and history of the building. Lake View Cemetery garfield monument Designed by architect George Keller, the Garfield Monument was dedicated on Memorial Day, 1890. The Garfield Monument stands 180 feet tall and is constructed of Berea Sandstone. Around the exterior of the balcony are five, terra cotta panels by Casper Bubel, with over 110 figures all life size, depicting Garfield’s life and death. The panels include Garfield as a teacher, as Major General in the Civil War, an orator, taking the oath of office and lying in state in the rotunda of the Capital in Washington DC. The Memorial Hall includes rich, gold mosaics, beautifully colored marble, stained glass windows and deep- red granite columns. The stained glass windows and window like panes represent the original 13 colonies, plus the state of Ohio, along with panels depicting War and Peace. Standing in the main floor is a statue of the President sculpted by Alexander Doyle.

Beachwood Place is an upscale shopping mall located in Beachwood, Ohio, a Greater Cleveland suburb. It opened in 1978 and is anchored by Dillard's, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue

Cleveland Hopkins International Airpot (CLE) is Ohio’s busiest airport, serving more than 9 million passengers annually. It’s positioned within 500 miles of 43 percent of the U.S. population. And for Northeast Ohio travelers, the airport is close—just 12 miles away from downtown Cleveland. Travelers also have the option to take the rail to CLE, a connection that, when added in 1968, was another first in the country.

John Carroll University, founded in 1886, is a private, coeducational, Catholic, and Jesuit university. It provides programs in the liberal arts, sciences, education, and business at the undergraduate level, and in selected areas at the master’s level. The University also offers its facilities and personnel to the Greater Cleveland community.

The Agora have a long history and represents one of the symbols of both Cleveland and US music history. Agora (the name) was previously used by two other Cleveland venues in succession. The current Agora theater/ballroom, known as such since 1986, first opened in 1913 as the Metropolitan Theatre. On December 29, 2011, the LoConti family decided to donate the Agora to MidTown Cleveland Inc.

Cleveland State University is a public university located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 when the state of Ohio assumed control of Fenn College and absorbed the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1969.
