About us
The YWCA of Canberra’s Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre operates in Conder in the South Tuggeranong region of Canberra. The Community Centre operates within a community development framework and delivers activities, information and support that aim to empower community members, promote linkages and enhance community participation. The Community Centre, Training Room, Café and Counseling Room are available to hire, at very reasonable rates. Community Centre – Comfortably seats around 40 adults (more standing). Has an outside courtyard area and kitchen adjacent for hirers to use Training Room – A smaller room, ideal for small meetings of up to 10 people Counseling Room – Ideal for small meetings of 2-4 people Community Café – A large café style kitchen with open café area. An outside courtyard area is also available to be used.
