The Hotel Studio do Carmo is located in the heart of Pelourinho, colorful historic centre of Salvador da Bahia. In an old colonial building of the XVIII century, the hotel overlooks the beautiful staircase of the church "Santissimo Sacramento do Passo”, a jewel of portuguese art that was declared by UNESCO to be a world cultural heritage patrimony. The atmosphere is warm and the style is rustic but with all the comforts. All rooms are recently refurbished with Italian style but without affecting the historical and colonial style of the original building.
