440 elm is a gorgeous newly renovated historic venue built by architect Elmer Grey in 1913. As one of the more stunning ballroom spaces in Southern California, with 30' coffered ceilings and chandeliers from the 1920s, this is a beautiful spot for a gala or corporate event. The downtown Long Beach location brings proximity to the Long Beach Convention Center, the Queen Mary, and a wide range of hotels. With a flexible layout that can seat up to 900 theater style or up to 500 in a dining configuration, there's a lot of room to work with. The soaring 30' ceilings, intricate stained glass, and rich architectural elements add an air of elegance and sophistication to corporate events in downtown Long Beach Located conveniently in the Downtown Long Beach area, we are less than a mile from the Long Beach Convention Center and major hotels. We have the ability to help create room blocks at local partner hotels including the Fairmont, Marriott, Hotel Maya, Terranea, Westin, Hilton, and even the Queen Mary as well as some local boutique options. With in-house catering by Bite Catering Couture, we offer a perfect combination of grand spaces, gorgeous & gourmet food and beverage options, and the ability to customize the spaces, menu, and entertainment to match the flow of your group and event.
