About us
Set amidst beautiful countryside, The 4 Gold Star Meldrum House Hotel offers unrivaled quality. Only a few miles from Aberdeen, this is one of the finest luxury hotels Scotland has to offer. It opened as a hotel in the 1950s and quickly earned an international reputation for fine food and genuine Scottish hospitality – a reputation it maintains to this day. Each of the eleven bedrooms in the main hotel have been individually designed with many containing original antique artifacts associated with Meldrum House for many years. The hotel also has thirteen executive rooms in the converted 17th Century Stables.The Chain Lodge is a spacious private building within the grounds of the estate – a short walk from the main hotel. It offers the charm and character of a traditional building, with all the conveniences of a five-bedroom luxury house. Our ground-floor function room within the main hotel can accommodate up to 80 delegates theatre-style, or 34 boardroom-style. The hotel function suite can seat up to 60 guests for lunch or dinner. The hotel also has a marquee which can be used to seat up to 180 guests and the Stables conference suite which can hold 100 board room style and 32 board room style.
