The Rebirth of a Spectacular Dream. The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park is both an architectural landmark and an independent boutique hotel that symbolically stands for the revitalization of El Paso. An icon in its own right, the 19 story, 130-room Pueblo Revival Art Deco property originally opened on November 30, 1930 as one of Conrad Hilton’s first high-rise hotels - welcoming A-listers including Elizabeth Taylor and other Hollywood's elite and dignitaries. The hotel's lobby is designed to act as El Paso's living room - a welcoming place to convene. The original hotel ballroom has been perfectly preserved and will be the most coveted location for events in El Paso. The pre-function space is centered around the historic double-story space, featuring original hand-painted beams and dramatic vaulted ceiling. The hotel features a world class restaurant and bar, Ambar, and an exclusive rooftop bar, La Perla, where guests will be awed by the mountainous views that stretch from El Paso to Mexico.
