With 28 hectare park and the home of 400 animals It is located in Phoenix Park in the heart of Dublin City Center. It is one of the oldest zoo's in the world. You can get to the Zoo by either bus or Luas. Bus Routes you can take: 25, 26, 46A, 66/66A/66B, 67, 69 Luas: Take the Red line to the Heuston Station stop. Dublin Zoo is a 15 minute walk from Heuston Station.

General Post Office (GPO)

The General Post Office (GPO) was established on the 6th of January 1818. During the Irish Easter Rising the GPO served as the headquarters for the uprising Leaders. As a result, the building was badly damaged and was not repaired until some years later. To this day you can still see a few bullet holes on the exterior walls and pillars of the GPO.

National History Museum
