Sichuan Tianfu International Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd, is co-funded by the Sichuan Provincial and Chengdu Municipal Government, which is the legal entity of operation and management of Western China International Expo City (hereinafter referred as the Expo City). It was incorporated with a capital of RMB 5 billion in April 2017 and is located in No. 88, East Section of Fuzhou Road, Tianfu New Area, Chengdu. Furthermore, Sichuan Expo Bureau designated its subsidiary Sichuan International Conference &Exhibition Co., Ltd. as the investment representative of Sichuan Provincial Government, holding 49% of the shares, while Chengdu Tianfu New Area Investment Group Co., Ltd. as the investment representative of Chengdu Municipal Government, holding 51% of the shares. The project covers an area of 1080 mu with a gross floor area of 570,000 m2, including an indoor net exhibition area of 205,000 m2 and an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 m2. By the end of May 2019, Sichuan Tianfu International Conference & and Exhibition Co., Ltd. has successfully hosted nearly more than 140 large-scale and high-end exhibitions and activities such as the 17th Western China International Fair, the 19th International Furniture Fair (Chengdu), the 100th China Food and Drink Fair, the 74th China Education Equipment Exhibition, the 17th Western China Overseas High Tech and High Talents Conference and 2017 Tencent Global Partners Conference. The total exhibition area is 3,130,000 m2.
