More

Inspired by our special place in the Garden City, Sofitel Singapore City Centre’s elegant design is a reflection of modernity and rich culture. With motifs that draw upon the heritage and love of nature, the hotel illuminates the Sofitel concept of árt de vivre, by intertwining elements from its leafy green surroundings and the sublime geometry of a traditional jardin à la français. Our strategic location nestled amongst the skyscrapers in historic Tanjong Pagar, at the heart of the central business district - a locale synonymous with the country’s enterprising spirit appeals to both business and leisure travellers, where nostalgic shop houses, government landmarks and quaint cafes dot the storied streets as one ventures out of the hotel's sanctuary. The hotel is the crowning glory of the S$3.2 billion Tanjong Pagar Centre development, Singapore's first vertical metropolis and integrated complex which includes the lion city’s tallest building at 290 meters high. Named ’Singapore, I Love You’, LASVIT’s art installation pays tribute to a phrase famously used in regards to the ‘city of light’. Inspired by the dance of leaves carried in a gust of wind, the installation is composed of plane tree leaves at the front of the twirl, gradually crumbling and falling apart into rain tree leaves towards its end. Similarly to Sofitel, our whirlwind originates in France, gradually taking on a Singaporean charm as it reaches our lobby.

Additional Information

A collection of 223 well-appointed rooms and suites feature comforts such as Sofitel’s sumptuous King-size MyBed and pillow menu, 4-point bathroom, Bose sound system, Virgin Active fitness kit, Handy phone and Lanvin/Hermes amenities.
