About us

The Savannah Convention Center is located right on the Savannah River in Savannah, Georgia. The center features spectacular views of the historic Savannah-Downtown District. The historic River Street is only a ferry ride away with spectacular shopping, restaurants, and entertainment choices. The Savannah Convention Center features 330,000 sq. ft. of flexible space. Space includes a 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall, a 25,000 sq. ft. ballroom, 17 meeting rooms, an auditorium, and a River Concourse. The Exhibit Hall is divided into sections with 33-foot ceilings, electrical every 30 feet, and easy drive-in access from eight covered loading bays. The Chatham Ballroom features 25,000 sq. ft. of space, and it is divisible into three sections and has 6,600 sq. ft. of pre-function space in the Georgia International Gallery. Meeting Rooms & Boardrooms provide 25,000 sq. ft. of space featuring a capacity range from 125 to 372 guests theatre style. Oglethorpe Auditorium features 367 seats and has built-in front and rear projection screens. River Concourse features 10,000 sq. ft. of flexible space ideal for event registration, breaks, and receptions. Direct access to the riverfront Esplanade, Exhibit Hall and Tondees'. Other services include spectacular in-house catering by our award-winning Savor Savannah, featuring outstanding food presentations and food quality. Available for your choosing are themed menus and menus designed just for your group. The convention center features an in-house audiovisual department and a full-service event services team planning your meeting from start to finish. On-site docks link the Convention Center to the historic downtown and River Street. In addition, 1,200 parking spaces are available on-site. Other convention center services include DTV technology capabilities, high-speed internet, high-capacity electrical services, and simultaneous interpretive technology. The spacious Savannah Convention Center offers natural light throughout the building and spectacular views of the historic downtown district.
